WebDec 10, 2015 · I drilled 10mm holes in the wood and 14mm in the breeze block to fit the Rawlbolts. The problem is a soon as I tighten the Rawlbolts I can hear and feel it chewing its way into the blocks and the bolts turn. As soon as I attach the arm and hood dryer and swing it out to its maximum length (approx. 2 Metres) the bolts move in the wall. Web- A 16mm drill bit (doesn't need to be a masonry bit for breeze block) and drill of course - A 8mm hex key, or much better a 8mm hex attachment for a socket/ratchet set (the long handle and ratchet very useful as it takes a lot of torque to get the metal bolt in) - Hammer - Large phillips screwdriver.
