He drives about 40k a … WebFeb 25, 2011 · just comparing what people have reported with stock trucks, the few 3.31 guys have had better economy both unloaded and towing. if you look at the chart as far as low end grunt you will notice that the configuration you speak of actually has more 1st gear grunt than the 2010 ford and the current dmax and cummins.

WebApr 26, 2024 · You will notice a difference for sure because its a different ratio but its just going to increase your rpms on the highway, lower your MPG by about 1-3 mpg (your miles may vary) but its not a mind blowing difference. So in my opinion unless you have to do it, I would not go with anything but 3.73s if you are coming from 3.31s.
