Find the notch, put the tool in, and give it a sharp hit. With any luck the cap pops off. I've done them with a seal puller too, but the seal puller wound up buried in the back of my hand. It's right up there with the shame they should feel over the stock headlights LOL. I went to carrying around a modified J Hook type load strap, but your tool looks great.

Spray some good penetrating oil (PB blaster or ZEP) around the hub area and either use the "Ford Tool" (BFH) as mentioned earlier or loosen the lugs up and drive it around in the parking lot.
