I did find info that said it is not FDA approved for safety.This medication has been in use for DECADES. About ten or 12 years ago, the FDA pulled a lot of these types of medications off. Apparently there is a way around that because it is still being sold. WebHi all! I have been on urogesic blue (in generic form) since like, 2024, for my IC. Works great and I have had a number of different insurance providers that cover it in that time. My company switched to Blue Cross Blue Shield and they do not cover it or the generic or anything that I can find that is similar.
