Webb23 maj 2009 · I'm planning to put a Procharger F1 & BBC into my '55. I'm starting with a 454 but plan to bore/stroke to 496. The big questions are how much horsepower and how much boost you're looking for. I met some of the Procharger guys at the Car Craft Nationals a few weeks ago in St. Paul. Great guys, very helpful. Webb13 aug. 2009 · It has a 572 with a F3R-139 Procharger set up and should be run at 30Lbs of boost, to race, with for now. I would like to run slightly more boost later in its racing career. On this engine it will probably have a shift point at around 7800-8000 rpm or so. Car weight would be in the mid 2600-2700-ish pounds with driver.
