MOREH, OAK OF (Heb. אֵלֹ֣ון מﯴרֶ֑ה; KJV incorrectly: “Plain of Moreh”), mentioned in Genesis 12:6 as a place near Shechem where Abraham camped on arriving in Canaan from Haran.
